Become a chimpanzee carer for a few days!
| Anyone who'd like to enjoy a short stay at the Mona Foundation can join our team of carers and participate in all kinds of daily tasks in the primates rescue centre, such as: preparation of primates' food, setting up of enrichment activities, construction of hammocks and new structures, observation and keeping of records, sharing in the cleaning of the sleeping areas, and, in the areas closed to the public, see how the chimpanzees eat and prepare their nests for the night... and lots more. |  |

For each Short Stay we accept a maximum of two adults, who can spend from two to four days with us for a very reasonable price, bearing in mind that 100% of the fee is used to cover the costs of running the rescue centre.
Our Short Stays offer a unique experience for people who love chimpanzees, since, for the first time in Europe, a rescue centre for primates is opening its doors, so that people can see and live at first hand the daily life of the chimpanzees and macaques rescued by the Mona Foundation.
