(Born in captivity in 2000 / arrived in MONA in 2004) In the past........Raised among humans to become another star in film or show business, just as his relatives Marco, Charly, Toni, Romie, and Sara. Would have lived in a lorry in his adolescence had he not been rescued when young. Strong points …..Sociable, extroverted, and courageous in face of difficulties or the other chimps. Plays incessantly with Juanito and is insensitive to pain (due in part to his illness). Weak points....Suffers from Chiari malformation, a degenerative disease. Four fingers of his left hand had to be amputated as the result of a chronic infection caused by frequent self-mutilation episodes. Loves to....eat meatballs, fresh cheese, and yogurt. |
