(Born free en -Nigeria- around 1956 / arrived in MONA in 2003) In the past........Captured in the jungle as an infant, later became a pet, and ended up in zoos, first in Berlin and then in Frankfurt. Strong points …..Wise, patient, tolerant, and a good leader. Grateful to his caretakers and a good link between group members: takes care of females, plays with younger ones, and makes use of his status to impose order when necessary. Weak points....Impatient about food, to the point of becoming anxious. Poor coordination, balance, and skills due to his advanced age. Loves....a small blanket to lie on at night. Vegetable soup - not too hot - soft fruit, and of course, boiled rice balls. |
